Bridging the Gap

Archimedes exclaimed ‘Eureka’ when he discovered the idea of ‘displacement’.
Displacement and Detachment are very closely related concepts. To assist in detachment, or non-attachment, displacement can be a temporary fix.  Say you have a bucket, and you fill that bucket up with marbles, if you try to add some bouncy balls, you won’t have room.  Unless, over the course of much time, the marbles could settle and maybe stretch the bucket out.  This is the ultimate goal, a bucket with capacity for both.

Enough of the philosophy… what the #$%&^ am I supposed to do without snowboarding?!?! Panic?? Hell no: there’s no room for panic on the crag.
